El álbum tributo a The Smiths, titulado Please, Please, Please: A tribute to The Smiths, saldrá a la venta el próximo 13 de diciembre y contendrá 20 de las más emblemáticas canciones de la agrupación a cargo de diferentes artistas y bandas independientes.
Dicho álbum será editado a través del sello American Laundromat, que en el pasado se encargó de otros tributos como Dig for Fire: a tribute to Pixies (2007) y Just Like Heaven: a tribute to The Cure (2009).
De esta forma, American Laundromat desde su página oficial ha habilitado la opción de pre-ordenar el disco en tres versiones: la primera es el álbum más un botón, la segunda es el álbum más un vinilo de 7” con tres canciones exclusivas, y la tercera: el álbum, el vinilo, una camiseta y la posibilidad de escuchar Please,Please, Please antes de su lanzamiento.
